• Reviewing letters and sounds for the next two weeks
• Continuation of print awareness & exposure, directionality, words/concepts, voice to print matching, letter recognition
• Poems and Rhyming
• Graphing, Take Away, Number sort
• December Holidays/ Holidays around the world/ Family Traditions

Bones

They have been learning about organs. Ben says, “this picture is about the bones.” Ben says, “Bones are hard and if we did not have bones in our legs we would fall down.”

Goals of the week 12/3–12/7

• Letter and sound recognition for the letter I
• Rhyming Games & Initial/Ending sounds
• Independent writing practice
• Informal letter formation (no writing tools, students will write letters in sand, form with play-doh, etc..)

Character Trait for December is: Empathy – recognize feelings being experienced by another person.
